MACHINE GUN ROCK'N'ROLL

About Me

Soliss, as individuals, have spent many years earning their rock “stripes.” Whilst each of the members have forayed into other musical territories, it was their mutual love of all things rock that, in early 2005, collated these five souls into the entity that is known as Soliss.
They offer an exciting live performance, brimming with enthusiasm and an honest, pure passion for the music they create. Their positively charged, adrenaline fuelled explosion of sound is embodied in their electrifying stage show. Not only do they have stage presence, they have stage allure! The mind set of Soliss is that once they’re on that stage, wherever the gig happens to be, whoever they're performing to, the stage and the audience is theirs for the taking...and boy do they take them! There won’t be any singer/songwriter acoustic love songs in their balls-to-the-wall all-out rock shows. Why tap the audience on the shoulder when you can belt them in the face!
Starting from the ground up, we have Ben R hammering the drums with such conviction that he breaks drum sticks every gig without fail (if you’re lucky you may catch him piercing a snare skin)! Paul B is the man who loves to hold down the bottom end and pound it to within an inch of it’s life using his massive bass rig. Mike Hawes is the rhythm king who can rock-out with the best of them and gives the band it’s ballsy rock'n'roll tone. Adam Wright squeezes and drains every last drop of solo "juice" from his battered, crippled, Stratocaster guitar. Ben S is the man with his soul in his larynx who prowls the stage like a delirious, starved predator, looking for his next musical meal to devour. Once you hear that vibrato-laden war-cry, you know he's reached his Valhalla!
