His laughter echoes through our thoughts and dreams everywhere...Some times we reach out to hug And to touch a memory.Our love for him is neverending, But has been placed in a special part of our heartsI LOVE YOU... I MISS YOU... ALWAYS AND FOREVER!!! McGINNIS, JOSEPH H. "DADDY JOE", of Williamstown; formerly of Blackwood, NJ and Philadelphia PA, passed away on June 30, 2006. Aged 75 years. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Joe moved to Blackwood in 1982 after retiring as a Sergeant with the Philadelphia Police Department. After retirement, Joe was a security Guard at the ADP Facility in Mt. Laurel. He also served in the Navy and the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Joe was a true showman and enjoyed karaoke and singing with live bands, especially at the LaPiazza and Thunderbird Inn in Wildwood. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching the oldies and Jeopardy on television, playing the lottery and shopping where he earned the nickname, "Joe Gadget." Joe will be remembered as an extremely easy going, kind, generous and considerate gentleman who was a wonderful storyteller and will be sadly missed by all. Beloved husband of 50 years to Dolores"Dee" C. (nee Gentile). Devoted father of Donna Marie and her husband John Beaver, Christina "Tina" and her husband, Lou Darigo and Amelia "Mia" and her husband, Mark Randolph. Dear Son of Harry and Mary (nee Finnigan) McGinnis. Dear brother of the late, Dolores "Lorrie" Glace, Rose Marie Vandervort, Mary McCusker and Joan Favazza. Loving grandfather of Valerie, Natalie and Attalia. Dear son- in-law of Emily Gentile and the late Attilio. Also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
