Andrea Casale was born in Italy on 10th September 1988. Lists Peter Gabriel as his favourite musician. At the age of 14 (the year was 2002) he starts playing the keyboards and composing his own music. On February 2004, aged just 15, he performs for the first time at BLACK HOLE disco in Milan during the Genesis and Peter Gabriel Tribute Festival with the Amici di Peter Jam Band. On November 2004 He forms the band "Airglow" with his friend Claudio Ciaccioli on bass. Their bests performances have been the ones at the Rotary Club of Taranto (in occasion of the project AMICI DI MALINDI) and at Cooperativa Owen of San Giorgio Jonico (Taranto) on 2006. The band has stopped to play together due to the university studies of all the members that took them in different parts of Italy. Andrea is graduated on July 2007 at Liceo Aristosseno in Taranto with a thesis concerning the relationships between music and philosophy, history, art, mathematics and literature. Now he studies Pharmacy at the University of Parma. Here in Parma he has started the project "IO DICO NO" with the African artist Cleophas Adrien Dioma. It is a project mixing all the kind of arts and cultures to increase the relationships between italian people and the African who lives here; the aim is the one of winning on the indifference.
He increases his passion for music as journalist of MOVIMENTI PROG and he interviewed artists like Sonja Kristina, Marvin Ayres, Charlie Winston, Richard Sinclair, Nick Davis... Andrea also played in a popular rock band called Ritratto di un Mattino.At the moment he is recording his first solo album at the amazing recording studio CONTRORA in Taranto with the famous musician Mimmo Gori.Andrea's music is characterized by warm and intenses sounds where European Pop-Rock meets the purest African music.
