Formed in 2004, After the Sun began writing songs along with playing small local shows, slowly gaining a fan base. Several line-up changes have brought After the Sun to a new level of song writing/structuring as well as enhanced live performances. With it's current line-up, the band combines many genres into one of their own. Each band member brings their own style and musical backround to create a fusion of metal subgenres along with some good ol' fashioned Rock 'n' Roll. Heavy intense metal riffs that lead to catchy sing along choruses depict After the Sun's approach to song writing. The messages expressed through After the Sun's lyrics give a sense of hope in dire situations in addition to shunning malice in this world. The lyrics are brought to life by passionate vocals that make the feelings portrayed palpable to the listener. All in all, After the Sun brings a platter that no one would not want a taste of.
