In 1981 I started to work with imported vinyls.
It touched me to my innermost. Music gives me energy, vitality and the needed balance that we all want to feel happy.
For me it is essential to stay true to my style.
Producing is both, inspiration and passion. It is an own world I can visit over and over again.
Domenico Carluccio was 15 years old when he stood behind the turning tables for the first time.Today, DJ-ing and producing are still inherent parts of his creative work. The enthusiasm and fascination for music motivated him to develop and become a modern DJ. He found out on his own that it was possible to mix pieces together using Lenco record players. Later, he had to learn that this was routine in Rimini. So he kept working on himself and matured, in musical aspects, as well as in studio techniques.
In the "Triebwerk Club", where he works as business manager and where he is the resident DJ, he meets well known people like Roger Sanchez and Joe T. Vanelli. Vanelli works the switches for Domenico's first release.
In 1994, his first Deep House Vinyl "Ocean EP" is released by Fuck Records under his pseudonym "Dolphins".
In 1995, his second Release is published - Working People "kiss my..." on the dutch Rhythm Distribution label. It becomes a Club hit. Several more releases follow.
His two projects, the "0815" chill out Compilation and "Sit'n Listen" bear the handwriting of his clear mixing style and they receive much attention. Innovation and devotion are his trademarks, which let us hope for more exciting productions.
