Hey everyone!! Its about time I update this!!! What a wild ride so far!!!
My name is Joe Pic (short for Piccirillo) from North Haven, CT, now currently living in Las Vegas, NV, and welcome to my myspace page!!
I started up doing photography on a serious level July 2007. In that short time, with the guidance of Mikey McNulty, I see my potential as a great photographer, and working hard at it every day.
I have been DJing for 10+ years, traveling all over and seeing different venues. When working with DVDJ Unique (www.dvdjunique.com), I met Mikey McNulty, and he turned me on to the photography world. I always had a “thing†for photography, and this really got me into it.
Taking me under his wing, and throwing a Canon 20D in my hands, he would critique every shot taken, being his second shooter. Some of my first nightlife events shot included Bad Boy Bill, Gabriel & Dresden, and Tiesto '07. With this experience under by belt, and the positive response i got, I bought my own camera rig!
Now working with DVDJ Unique, DJ Roonie G (www.djroonieg.com), and Niche Magazine (www.nichenightlife.com), I have opened doors to see the world. Grenada, Denver, Las Vegas, Chicago and New Orleans, are just a few of the cities that I have worked in, in some of some major venues. 10 years ago, I would have never said this is what Id be doing for a profession!
My website, JOEPICPHOTOGRAPHY.COM, is currently under construction. My pictures will be listed on 'my pictures' on this profile. These are 100% MY PHOTOGRAPHS. Some were taken with a little Canon PowerShot 600SD, some with a Canon 20D, some with my new Canon 40D and some with a Canon 5D. Check them out and tell me what you think!
