Joshua Stephens

Joshua Stephens has been in love with music as far back as he can remember. "Music has always been my source of comfort, compassion, stress relief, and excitement ......it is a creative expression of all emotions and life in general".
He was first introduced to d.j.ing when he was thirteen at a rollerskating rink in hadley,Ma by D.j. Tony Love. Three years later he began working with Tony, flyering and learning how to mix at Club Metro for a teen night event where he met Randy Boyer (a.k.a. d.j. ranpage).
After about two years of being involved with the night club and all the aspects of learning to be a d.j., life threw some curve balls and stopped him from pursuing music. After almost five years of being away from night clubs (and consequently not d.j.ing) he ran into Randy Boyer again at Club Rain in downtown Springfield, Ma and picked up where he left off.
After three years of local parties and smaller venue residencies he became one of three resident D.j.'s at Skyplex and Hippodrome Night Club, having taken over the reigns for one of western Ma and Ct's most sought after d.j.'s and producers, Randy Boyer!! Other residencies include: Cobalt in Springfield, Ma ; Club Meadows in East Longmeadow ,Ma ; Federal Cafe in Hartford, Ct ; Atlantic Night Club in Springfield, Ma and The Library Nightclub in Sprinfield ,Ma !! Armed with multiple dj compilations out in population and high energy dance floors, he has been taking the local club scene by storm. Intense vocals, solid bass, energy, and pure love for music have kept his dance crowds begging for more.
With his high energy sets and full on determination to bring music to the masses, you can be sure that Joshua Stephens will be continuing to make his mark locally and abroad in the nightclub scene.
As a featured artist and co-owner/ co-operator of Beatdown Productions, Joshua Stephens has joined forces with another of western Ma's elite, founder and frontman of Beatdown Productions, DiWrecked, who has an impressive background spinning many genres of electronic music and now focusing mainly on Techno, hard NRG, and driving UK Hard Progressive House.
Continuing to move forward Joshua Stephens has been producing music in his home based studio and has been given the opportunity to be making his production debut on one of todays hottest dance labels within the next year.
