About Me

Dante and I got married on November 10th. I'm officially a wife. Weird! The wedding was fab, and married life is even better. Granted, we haven't been married that long. We are going to have to get on each other's nerves at some point. We certainly did before the wedding!
The Houston Texans rule our lives before, during, and after the typical season. Hopefully next year we can make it into the playoffs and our season can last a bit longer! We love our Bull Pen friends and enjoy tailgating with them. Dante has turned me into a walking football encyclopedia (abridged version), which is quite interesting. I love talking ball with guys and finding out that I know more than they do!
Other than that, we aren't all that exciting. If we aren't at Molly's or Joe's, we at home with our friends playing Wii. Love the Wii, hate that nobody wants to play a damn board game anymore because of it. What's wrong with a little Cranium from time to time?! Though I have to admit that Mario Party is the most addictive thing on the planet. I especially love watching Steve "shake it up".
Here's a little wedding slideshow. Thanks to Christine Tremoulet. She's the greatest photographer ever! The first song was our first dance and the second is our favorite song.
And excuse my marshmallowyness.

My Interests

Socializing, finding creative ways to waste time, drinking wine, shopping for stuff for the house, feeding my Chapstick addiction, cooking with friends, cheering for the Texans, planning parties for anyone, spending time with D.

I'd like to meet:

The inventor of Aleve. I'd like to give that person a big, fat hug.

Music:

I listen to almost everything...especially lame songs I can sing along to. I think I have great taste in music but know a lot of people that would disagree with me.

Movies:

80's teen comedies are my favorite. Could be why Dante and I are going to name our child Ferris.

Television:

Big Love, Prison Break, Scrubs, America's Next Top Model, Project Runway, My Name Is Earl, The Office, Top Chef, Top Design, Samantha Who, The People's Court (don't laugh at me), and Arrested Development.

I enjoy America's Funniest Home Videos so I can watch people fall off of bicycles (which might just be my favorite thing ever).

Books:

She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb and Valley of the Dolls by Jacqueline Susann are my favorites. Anything from McSweeney's is good. Bitter is the New Black...best book I've read in a LONG time!

Brother Bear got me this book for my birthday. It is a wonderful guide to snappy dressing, straight from the Pope himself. A must have.

Heroes:

My parents.

My Blog

For Courtney

Were we there or not? Singing karaoke at the Coliseum... Enduring a Godzilla attack... Dead at a crime scene... Livin' it up at the signing of the Constitution... Bondage, anyone? Bringing gifts ...
