As the longest standing black/death metal band in the Auburn area, we have 11 years notched into our name Crossing the boundaries of black, death, grind, thrash, and hardcore, our diversity has proven to be a strong factor in the creation of music. We have long been part of the underground scene and metal-heads around the world have recognized THE NEW PLAGUE in promoting the metal movement to new heights below the radar of mainstream perception. We have been fortunate enough to be asked to play 4 Death Fests and with many national acts such as Cannibal Corpse, Incantation, Sadus, and The Accused. THE NEW PLAGUE clearly displays aggressive, technical guitar riffing, a sophisticated growling vocal delivery, incredible speed and accuracy.
