About Me

i feel very strongly about objecting my gender role and creating one i am comfortable with, complete with all the work to get there that is often denied by the female form. Stereotypes may begin to diminish, but gender does not produce a right or left when actually applied to life. When everything from advertisements to satire execute the notion that women are either sexual or maternal, the problem stands with expectations in a statistical sense. i don't think there is anything wrong with sex or maternity, but i do think there is a lack of strength and pride in falling back on either to support a cycle of shortcuts. women have come so far in this one, why not reject the associations and continue onward to make the choice for ourselves and not be noted as the smaller section of a graft? Both genders have the ability to co-exist in an egalitarian way. There is also the broad spectrum of variances between the two with myself included. Being that there is no black, white, or gender lines in the least, I feel our time is now to push this concept further with our words, actions, and reactions. If we are to live in a society through which environmental, sociological and political comfort are of desire, we must begin with the coalescing of the human as a part of the simply put "humanity". It is here in this unity, that we can achieve our potential unified goal. Whether a gender issue or mearly a distaste for other aspects of society, the desireable outcome could be the same. The next step is clarity, so open eyes and open hearts continue to go a long way. To quote the Mc5, "It takes five seconds to decide, five seconds...to decide whether you are going to be part of the problem, or part of the solution...are you ready to testify?"
