About Me

First of all, I don't take this MySpace thing too seriously. I'm here to meet friends and to learn as much as I can from others. I have found that you can learn something from everyone, so I always listen to what other people have to say. I'm an educated man who likes to correspond with interesting people. I'm not here to hook-up, and I don't do drama. This is for fun only.If I have invited you to be friends, it's because we are already friends / family or . . . it's because I read something in your profile that interested me and now I'd like to learn more about you or about one of your interests, or maybe it's you who invited me.I have a good sense of humor. I love to joke and have fun and make people laugh. If I've made someone smile and brightened their day, great!I like to hang out with friends and listen to music. I really love music and live entertainment.I love all kinds of art and music, as well as performing arts like live theater. I have very little talent in these areas, but I enjoy and appreciate the arts.I love to travel and view pretty scenery. I also like to meet and talk to people from other places to learn more about other cultures and traditions. I love food and I'm always willing to try something new. I have to admit that I'm not always willing to try things twice, but I have discovered many wonderful new things in my travels and experiences.I'm a firm believer in good manners and in being polite. In some ways, I feel that I was born too late and that I would have been happier living in a more "polite" age. On the other hand, I hate modern political correctness and I prefer when people just say what they mean.I like sports. I played football and tennis in high school, but I got into yachting and motorsports in college. I enjoy swimming and surfing. If you'd like to share some thoughts or maybe just have some laughs, please feel free to write to me or to add me to your friends list.

Music:

I really love music. My life has always had a "soundtrack" of music. I like: Rock, Alternative, Classical, Jazz, old Romantic standards, Oldies, Techno, some Country; I enjoy all kinds of music, not just the ones listed here.

Movies:

Too many to list! I worked in the motion picture industry, and my sister does now, so I could talk about movies for hours. I never miss a Charlize Theron film or a James Bond movie, and I've seen all the films featuring my friend, Carol Lynley.

Television:

I really prefer television where I can learn something. I mostly watch Discovery, Science Channel, stuff like that, but I also watch sports and later at night, I'll watch a movie or something on Comedy Central. My current favorite is a show called, "Survivorman" with my friend, Les Stroud. I like to watch Rachael Ray's cooking show. If it wasn't for her, I'd starve.

Books:

My favorite authors are Peter Eagan, P. Hathaway Capstick, and my friend Andrew Breitbart. I like Hemingway. He was great.

Heroes:

Anyone who has ever had the courage to put aside their own selfishness and do the right thing; not because it was easy, but because it was the honest and righteous thing to do.
