About Me

Hey.....I'm just a super mellow 40(plus)-year-old woman that LOVES rock'n'roll and LOVES being a photographer/rock journalist!! It's taken me a LONG time to realize my dreams but I'm LOVIN LIFE right now. I have FINALLY been published and I'm getting to shoot and write about a LOT more shows these days....YAY!! I am a contributing writer/photographer for All Access Magazine so you can go to their site (www.allaccessmagazine.com) and check out my writing and my live photography. I'm having a LOT of fun with that. I also started my own photography business this year called Just Shoot Me Photography so I'm working really hard to get that off the ground and profitable. I have 2 grown children that I am VERY proud of and a husband that has been one of my dearest friends for most of my life (since WAY before we got married)!
I'm a MAJOR Tesla/Frank Hannon fan as well as Def Leppard and several other rock bands/guitarists.......OBVIOUSLY Rock music is my thing. I do what I can to help promote my favorite artists as well as local talent. I am very loyal and protective of my friends (ask anyone who knows me) and I'm a major goofball but I know how to have fun (drug-free fun). Hanging out with my family, roadtrips with my friends and concerts are my favorite things (and taking pictures, of course)!! That's it for now. ROCK ON!!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

It took me over 18 YEARS to FINALLY meet Joe Elliott but it was well worth the wait.....that missioin was accomplished on 11/10/2005!! What a historic event THAT was........HELL YES!! I TOLD you it would happen!!!!!!!!

I'd also like to meet Oprah and John Travolta. I'm ALWAYS up for meeting genuinely cool people that like to have fun (drug-free fun)!! There's a TON of people from the Tesla message board that I'd love to meet and I'm sure that I will, someday! I could go on for DAYS on different people that are on my "list" but this will do for now!

Music:

LOVE the 80s rock/metal scene and LOVE sweet sounding guitar! TESLA and Frank Hannon Band, Def Leppard, Great White, Cinderella......but also love 3 Doors Down, Godsmack, Velvet Revolver, etc. ROCK N ROLL ALL THE WAY!!

Movies:

Now THIS is a WIDE RANGE of stuff......I LOVE some of the older movies like A Star Is Born with Streisand and Grease........I LOVE WILD HOGS, Just Friends, Something's Got To Give, In and Out, Wedding Crashers and The Notebook........oldies like While You Were Sleeping, It Could Happen To You, Just One Of The Guys.......I am a MAJOR STAR WARS GEEK........I tend to go all over the charts with my interests in movies!!

Television:

BIG FRIENDS FANATIC and That 70s Show!! Love CSI and The Family Guy. Love my soaps too.....YnR, General Hospital and occasionally Days(it's gotten pretty stupid)!

Books:

Mostly books on Photoshop, photography or tech books.

Heroes:

My Mom.....she NEVER stops amazing me!
