Click here:Deep in the heart of Appalachia, before the city life was even a gleam in his eye, Thad lived a simple life. With an unquenchable thirst for distilled liquor and Capri Sun, life was good. People in Franklin West Virginia enjoyed the company of young Thad, after all he did have the nicest mullet west of the Shenadoah Mountian. John Springer always credited Thad's luscious locks and complimentary mustache to the fashion sense of Alicia (Thad's Sister). Thad's Ma, Chris, would feed him eggs every day to keep it shiny. "Eat eggs every day and you will have the shiniest aerodynamic haircut in town," she would say. Thad's Pa, Gene, learned him to wrastle and shoot big'n guns. "one day you will be bald like me." Gene would say, as he cackled from behind his frosty beverage. One day after baseball practice, Thad and Dan McGrath was enjoying a plug of big league chew when Andy Judy came up and showed Thad his new guitar. Andy said,"look how shiny it is." Thad thought to himself,"Almost as shiny as my mullet." Thad said,"let me see that there guitar." He picked it up and decided there was too many strings that were to close to one another with metal things on the neck. So Thad took out his pocket knife, and took away the strings, and used four pieces of telephone wire instead. He also took away those metal things off of the neck. (Andy called them frets) and learned himself to play. He called it a fretless bass. Daniel Kaufman would make fun of Thad because he thought his hair was funny, and his instrument was weird. That was fine because Thad knew Daniel meant no harm by it. Up until this time Thad played his fretless bass guitar in the local honky tonks and brothels around town. One day a tall loud guy with funny hair learned Thad to play Jamaican music. This guy went by the name "Rude Boy", and learned Thad that mullets outside of West Virginia are not cool to have. With that, Thad moved Boston, and got learned at school, met up with Obi and started a band called Westbound Train. Later on Thad found himself a very nice and chunky bass that had some of them there frets on it. Thad said to himself... "If I put some nice and smooth strings on that there chunky bass it might sound as smooth as a pair of a purty ladies unerthingies." So Thad started playing his brand new chunky bass... "That there bass is almost as good as a bowl of Cheerio's!"
