Hello all, and God Bless! I am a young black attorney in Los Angeles, CA. I'm a USC Law grad and a Morehouse College sociology grad. My interests are in Tort Law, Litigation, and Entertainment/Music law. As of late, I'm interested in entertainment most of all. I'm a unique individual. I went to law school because of music. In '97, I interviewed Shaggy at Morehouse College for the newspaper. I noticed then how little control the artist has in his day to day business dealings, so I started investigating who does. Every answer I got took me to someone with either a law or business degree, or someone whose job would incline them to get such a degree if they could (puffy, Master P, Russell Simmons, etc.) or some nameless faceless non-black billionaire (Jimmy Iovine, etc.) To be sure, that is what made me want to move to California to go to law school.Upon going to law school, I learned to gain interests in other arenas such as real estate, business law, litigation and employment. At present, I do contract work because the pay is good and the hours are excellent! Furthermore, it allows me to develop in the areas of law that interest me during my off time and not have to rely on it to live well.
