The thought of Getto Death started in '96 orginally called obfuscation, this project was started by current guitarist Jose "Chepo" Ron, and former vocallist Eric Davila, some years laters a steady line up of musicians fell into place, the original line of Getto Death was Dar Borja-vocals, Chepo Ron-guitars,-Damien Holman-guitars, Eric Davila-bass, and Alex Ron-drums, many years and shows passed, playing with such acts as dying fetus, skinless, gorguts, and immolation, getto deaths fury spread forth, recording a demo in the process, Soon How ever Dar left the band on personal bussiness, and after some time, and other singers (most notably Vance, for he was singing the longest) Getto Death had a new line up, in the summer of '03 Nelson Miranda was added to play bass and do backing vocals, and Eric Davila moved to vocals, for the recording of "From Birth to death metal". After two years of Gigging, Eric was forced to leave the band for personal reasons, and another vocalist switch, Nelson, now at the helm as the throat of Getto death, and a talented young bass player from Pedro, Andy Bartleson was then added to the line-up. Being in the scene for quite some time we've learned a lot. All we can say is, fuck flakes, fuck promoters who don't have a clue or give a shit about the bands (we make you the money assholes, atleast give us the respect we are in titled too), fuck the bands who are full of them selves ( If you were really that talented you wouldn't be playing in the hully gully with us). But horns up to all the homies, the good production companys, the countless bands we've played with, and anyone whos followed us from time to time. We just love playing and like having fun. That is all
