About Me

SAVE THE DATE APRIL 19, 2008. We have already started the planning for what will be the best Spring Party in The Active 20-30 Club history. This is the 40th Anniversary of Spring Party!
There will be Spring Party special offers made only through my myspace profile. I have done this the past two years. This year is different. I am one of the co chairs for the entire party. There will be contests and prizes which I will explain more in the future, but there will be top 8 contests and a drawing only for those the buy their tickets from me.
Never been to Spring Party????? Well, we give you food, drink and a band....all night in a warehouse somewhere in Sacto. There will be a theme announced later! Ask around.....Spring Party is one of the best parties ever! Best of all.....ALL OF THE MONEY GOES DIRECTLY TO CHILDRENS CHARITY HERE IN THE SACRAMENTO AREA.
Here is some information about the Active 20-30 Club:
Our Mission: Active 20-30 USA & Canada provides young adults with an opportunity for personal growth, friendships and leadership development while improving the quality of life for the special needs children in their community.
Our Motto: Youth, to be served, must serve.
In the Community Though you may have attended one or more of our parties or other fundraisers, such as Chip-In-Fore Charity, you may not have seen the wonderful things that we do with the money that we raise. Since Active 20-30 is a volunteer organization, every dime of profit goes directly to the kids of our community!
Now more about me since since this is my profile...lol
I promote a few clubs, restaurants and events in the greater Sacramento Area. If you want to know whats going on or get on the VIP/guest list in some of the areas hot spots then "ADD ME". I will send information from time to time.

In addition to hosting great events for the kids of our community, Active 20-30 donates on average over $85,000 each year to local philanthropies. Our goal with these groups, as with everything we do, is to help them help the children of our community. Active 20-30 has built several playgrounds in the county, including major sponsorship of the Southside Park Accessible Playground, funded art programs for inner-city schools, supported immunization programs and has contributed to many, many more organizations throughout our long history as a service organization. To see exactly where the money goes, download the Active 20-30 Club No.1 of Sacramento History of Benevolent Giving 1990-2005. (Exact amounts from 1922-1989 not currently available.)Requesting Funds If you are charitable group benefiting children and would like to request funds from Active 20-30 you may print and submit an application for funds. Some of the Charities and Events We’ve Supported Fall 2006 ($53,150) United Cerebral Palsy - Saddle Pals Camelllia Symphony Orchestra Children’s Theatre of California Wind Youth Services Children’s Choice for Hearing and Talking (CCHAT) People Reaching Out Campus Life Connection -North Area Teen Center A Very Special Arts Inclusion Celebration Back to School Shopping Spree (Hands On Event) Special Kids Family Picnic (Hands On Event) Pumpkin Patch Tour (Hands On Event) Holiday Shopping Spree (Hands On Event) Cancer Kids Party (Hands On Event) Spring 2006 ($23,590) Community Bowling Day (Big Brothers/Big Sisters) Rio Linda Educational Foundation National Youth Sports Program Xeroderma Pigmentosa Family Support Group Society for the Blind Sacramento Child Advocates Homes with a Heart Firefighters Burn Institute Fall 2005 ($34,941) A Very Special Arts Show of Sacramento Families United Friends of the Future Moral Values Program Powerhouse Ministries St. Francis Home for Children Back to School Shopping Spree Special Kids Family Picnic Pumpkin Patch Tour Holiday Shopping Spree Mike Smyth Cancer Kids Party Scholorships Spring 2005 ($64,726) Southside Park Accessible Playground Fairytale Town American Youth Soccer Organization Challenge Soccer Rivercats Independence Field Sacramento CASA/Making Memories Sierra Adoption Services Shriner’s Hospital Mercy Hospice Hereditary Disease Foundation St. Patrick’s Home for Children Youth Bus Trip Pennies A Day Fall 2004 ($43,637) A Very Special Arts Show of Sacramento American Diabetes Boy Scout Troop #5 Boys & Girls Club Fairytale Town - Mother Goose Stage Matsui Foundation for Public Service Monterey Penninsula College Foundation Back to School Shopping Spree Special Kids Family Picnic Pumpkin Patch Tour Holiday Shopping Spree Mike Smyth Cancer Kids Party Spring 2004 ($16,101) Sacramento Crisis Nursery Oak Park Preschool SCOE - Vision Services Coral Youth Center Todays Youth Matter Boy Scouts Troop #16 Pennies A Day Fall 2003 ($36,168) Access Leisure dba Grizzly Camp Communities Housing Opportunities National Youth Sports Program Families United, Inc.
