About Me

A British artistic, nonconformist, that’s been in LA for fifteen years. A chivalrous, cheeky, card. A wag, anomaly, unconventialist, quirk, a swain, idiosyncratic and ironic, (OK, get the Oxford out). A pert, particular, poetic, professional. A rare romantic roguish reliable rascalish rake, (meaning a dissolute man of fashion, or an implement for smoothing soil, you choose). A different, daring, dissident. A saucy, supercilious, supernatural, sensitive, scampish, scandalous, sentimentalist. . (Whoever is spreading the rumor in the US that saucy is bawdy is wrong, and needs working on. Saucy is impudent and cheeky, (or Colloq), smart- looking, or again, depending on the circumstances, suggestive. Bawdy is indecent and coarse and I would like to meet the person that calls me that). An erudite, enviable, earnest, egghead. disonest as the day is long. My earliest recollection was when I was about 2 years old. I was in the back seat of my dad’s car, in a traffic jam, on a busy highway, back in the UK. And a trendy, convertible sports car pulled up next to my father’s car. Seated in the driving seat was a man of about thirty, who appeared to be quite hip and full of himself, enjoying his music on his radio, on this hot summer day.

My Interests

love it. Sailing around The Greek islands… sailing anywhere. There is a quaint town in Brittany, France called Dinan, delightful. If I’m not in one of these places, I'm at The Zen Grill on Third, W. Hollywood. Work in LA, shop for clothes in London, socialize in New York, Lounge in the Med

I'd like to meet:

" I am ostensibly (ostensibly meaning, 'actually, but not necessarily', dwell on that, if you are the 'one' I seek) seeking like-minded, ironic people to establish friendships with. I have a few acquaintances, but more is a good thing. Generally, I dislike mediocrity. People who are politically correct, not willing to integrate with your neighbor, constantly vigilant against "They. Them, the other guys" whoever they might be? They are not popular. If you are willing to stand out and take a risk in whatever you might be doing, that is applauded. If you are a New Yorker, then I am not worthy; you are the best people on this planet. Your straightforwardness, understanding of irony, and fertile interest in others is an inspiration. I don’t mind being owned, but yet I do not wish to own, Oh contraire, I want to set free. Charming people, with grace, (not that I’m charming and graceful!) humanity and a keen sense of hospitality.
