Music:
My taste in music is very diverse. I love listening to soft instrumental to classic rock. I love the blues, BB king, KOKO Taylor. You can find me listening to light Jazz on a Sunday morning, then changing it up with some cranberries, Sarah brightman, and if I need a little pick me up while cleaning the house.. The Chemical Brothers will do the trick. Music is definitely in the heart and soul of those who to choose to listen.
Movies:
I go in streaks with the movie thing. One of my ultimate favorites is notebook.. It is a must see. It makes your heart skip a beat and you are guaranteed a great cry. I love dances with wolves, tuesday with morrie,and pretty woman.. Yep, you guessed it a hopeless romantic.
Television:
If I have time to watch the tube, Its either the packer game, Greys anatomy or American idol.
Books:
I love anything by the Dalai Lama and own many. A simple path, An open heart, The art of Happiness. I also find Caroline Myss very interesting. Her book the Anatomy of the Spirit is awesome. I enjoy Pema Chodron's collection. Good Life , Good Death by Rimpoche Nawang Gehlek is just excellent if you want a new twist to excepting death. Buddhims for mothers by Sarah Napthali is recommended for all you moms out there. And nothing like cracking open Leaves of Grass by Whitman when I am on my deck, sipping a cocktail in the morning sun.
Heroes:
The Dalai Lama is my hero and someone I admire endlessly. But when it comes to someone on a more personal level. I would have to say I am pretty proud of my life's accomplishments and I happen put myself in that category.
