About Me

Blaq Magiq Musiq is the movement founded by Steffan Cooks in 1999 to offer the industry a different path expression. We are not here to "reinvent the wheel" or "take over" the world. We create music for those who long to hear another approach to the artform known by many names: hip-hop, rhythm and blues, jazz, rap, electronica, house, ambient and the list goes on and on. We feel that by blending these styles, we have created something truly unique, but more than that, we feel that we still offer the crowd something that will still get them off of their feet.
