Amanda Decker

Ok, ok, my name is Amanda Decker, but if I like you, you can call me Mandy;) Anyways my passion for artistry will not let me stop performing and singing. Seriously, this stuff (music) gets me so high I can barely breathe. I love music that doesn't make any sense, that simply flows from your "soul". I can appreciate all kinds of music and have been trained to sing in almost all realms, but the style of music that touches me and excites me is of a soulful, jazzy, funky type.

I believe God gives each of us many gifts that are unique to each of us. I am an artist because I believe God made me one. I have tried to run from it many times and be "normal" lol. But truth always seemed to get in the way. This is my calling to perform the music I love. My entire body comes alive when I do. It's as if I've been sleeping, every single cell and molecule in body, and then bamm ---- I'm awakened. Too deep? Sorry, I am a bit out there.. guess it comes with the job.

To be to the point, music moves me, like nothing or no one ever will. Music is the true love of my life. I want to move people with my songs by expressing myself, going through all the emotions I've had throughout my life..... through words, sound, and the tone of my voice.
