--Well, hmmm. I'm just this girl, you know? I love to be always learning, and creating. I believe in kindness and honesty and freedom of expression. I like to think of people as just people, not their gender, or history or any other distinction. Not because I think differences should be swept under the carpet, but because everybody shares so much. I also think those differences are what make people beautiful. I have serious health problems, the biggest of which have been Chronic Inflammatory Demylinating Polyneuropathy , with Peripheral neuropathy (say that ten times fast!). And some clotting issues in my legs, and lung. However, these issues have given me alot of time for learning and reflection, for which I am generally grateful. Thankfully, I seem well enough to return to school this semester to push on with my psycholgy degree. I have a great interest in melding eastern and western psychology-though I am still researching which area will be the most appropriate. I have a great interest in working for an organization such as hospice, because I wish to work with the elderly, and terminally ill. I am an artist, who sometimes finishes things :) and occasionally they even turn out interesting. I've recently been learning yoga , which I would suggest to anyone, but which has been great fun for me and a boon to overcoming my neurological difficulties. I am also a member of the Drikung Kagyu of Vajrayana Buddhism, and am doing the Ngondro practice. Just recently I'm a new a knitter, inspired about stories of the Dulaan Project . I am also unswervingly devoted to the cheesy, the unusual and the brilliant- in most senses it can be taken.
May all mother sentient beings, boundless as the sky, have happiness and the causes of happiness.
May they be liberated from suffering and the causes of suffering.
May they never be seperated from the happiness which is free from sorrow.
May they rest in equanimity, free from attachment and aversion.
