Mido Malik was born in Alexandria in the north of Egypt, on the twelfth of March, in 1978. He bought his first record at the age of eight (It was Michael Jackson with the song Billie Jean which is still living in me and I can still feel it just like the first time I heard it...Mido says.) Ever since the day Mido bought his first record, he has not stopped living for music. He started his music career in age 14 as guitarist and composer in small band of his childhood friends in Alexandria. But as he felt fascinated by djing, he decided to enter the world of djing in ninetiethHis initial interest in music was early Hip Hop, Break dance, Reggae and Acid House. As the urban culture grew into house, Mido remained in tune with musical trends and continued to extend his broad collection of music.Mido started to mix professionally from 1999. His mix can be described as smooth, elegant, sexy and technically perfect, but his choice is all about playing music that makes people want to party. Mido's personality encompasses everything one would expect from a DJ. He is a creative and confident body shaker. He has conquered the Egyptian and international clubbers in Sharm el Shiekh with the diversity of music that he plays and he is currently the most upcoming DJ in Egypt. To limit Mido Malik to a style of music would be unfair, since he plays whatever it takes to make people let themselves go high without having to play commercial hits.Mido Malik has smashed the floor in a lot of Sharm el Shiekh's night clubs, including his one year residence @ Pacha, Sharm el Shiekh, The Summer Session 2004 and Winter Session 2004/2005 @ Fanara Club and his sublime Chill out Session @ Radio el Fanara.In 2005 Mido Malik moved from Egypt to Norway and he started new period of his life with studying media and start releasing his own production.
