About Me

I go to this great church in the Uptown area called The Rock. I love it there. The sermons are heartfelt and truthful unlike so many things we encounter today. If you want to check it out go to www.rockthechurch.com .
I'm a fairly happy person and it's pretty easy to make me laugh. I will talk about almost anything you like to talk about and I'm a pretty good listener. I just finished my B.A. in Computer Science, yay for graduating! I got a job as a software engineer at a local company. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty happy about that!
I have red hair and greenish bluish eyes (call them what you want...I'm not quite sure how classify them).
If you want to get to know me try messaging me first. If I don't know you at all chances are I won't add you. Hope to talk to you soon :)

My Interests

Um...I like hanging out with my friends. I like my new job. I sorta like photography but I don't get out my camera very often. I'm a little obsessed with turtles which you will find out somewhat quickly if get to know me. Taking my friends out boating is fun for me. I'm up for talking about most things people feel they need to talk about. Going to movies is fun as is bowling and playing pool and...other stuff.

I'd like to meet:

People

Movies:

Spiderman, Batman (the new one), Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Meet the Parents, X-men (wow lots of comic book movies), Star Trek movies (yep I'm a sci-fi freak), Bourne Identity/Supremacy, Star Wars movies, The Usual Suspects, The Matrix (but not the last one, it sucked), Alien (all four from this series), Finding Nemo, Finding Neverland, The Green Mile, Monsters Inc, Moulin Rouge, and of course there are more I can't think of. I don't like what I call "stupid humor" for the most part so I never want to see Zoolander again. I'm not too fond of anything too scary. A little suspense is fine but a horror flick can haunt me for days so I avoid them more than I used to. Yep, definately used google to compile this list...hehe.

Television:

Hmmm...I like The Fringe, CSI, Law and Order, Late Night with Conan Obrien, Stargate, Star Trek, that's all I can think of at the moment. I do NOT like reality TV. It isn't real, it's set up. It's also rather irritating.

Books:

Oh there's so much I can put here. The Bible has to be listed first because of course...it is the Bible. I think my favorite novel is Enchantment by Orson Scott Card. He happens to be my favorite author at the moment...has been for a few years now and I've read most of his books. I've enjoyed the Left Behind series quite a bit. It really makes me think. When I was younger I read a bunch of stuff by Christopher Pike who mostly writes young peoples fiction but he has a few good books for a more adult audience. I read Blood Brothers for a class I was in...that's pretty good. Essentially, if I get a book and I have time I will breeze through it pretty quickly. Usually about a day if it's 300-400 pages, but I don't have as much free time as I used to. Wow this is long.
