I recently moved to the glorious city of Chicago. So far, I'm having a blast, and plan to continue that route. These big city ways are strange and confusing to this naive small-farming-town boy. I am from downstate IL where the corn grows rampant and terrorizes the citizens. Actually I'm from a college town that seems to try to keep its inhabitants from escaping by forcing them to work meagerly paying jobs.
Currently I have a mind-numbing day job, and I do Improv comedy with this group that may just be featured in my top eight. Other than that, I like to laugh at just about anything. I like bands, bars, bands at bars(winning combo) and finding odd events and drinks to spend all my money on.

I'd like to meet:

Maybe you........ Maybe. I'm skeptical because the one time I ever met someone I befriended over myspace when I joined in '05, it turned out to be a huge mistake. But I'm not about to assume everyone is that flaky. I'm an optimistic pessimist. Actually, I like meeting new people, so I'm calling that extended incident a fluke. So say hi! Oh and I also want to meet the whoever is going to make me rich.... would you freakin show up already???

And of course, The Hoff!

Music:

Music is good, I enjoy it. Rather than trying to impress with my taste in rock-indy-punk-folk-ethinic fusion-anything but pop country and dance club dj taste, I'll just say I like music. Its better live, even when the performance is bad because that means you're probably with friends, and probably drinking, and if the band sucks, you can make fun of them.

Movies:

Good ones to enjoy, bad ones to to make me feel superior by critiquing them, funny ones to laugh at even if they're bad, intellectual ones to learn something, documentaries on almost any subject as long as its done well.

Television:

I watch waaaay too much tv.

Books:

Those instructions on building my futon were a bitch to get thorugh.
