I'm Derra. Mostly geeky, sorta tomboyish, kinda girly girl. I'm easily amused, very silly, and incredibly fascinated by lots of things. Like people (crazy or not), cooking, video games, movies, photography , and all things medical. I can be very outgoing and sassy, but usually somewhat quiet and reserved. I'm definitely a kid at heart, as the little things in life always make me happy. I have a wonderful husband, Adrian. I currently live in Nashville, but am originally from Kentucky. After being a bank teller at Regions Bank (formerly Union Planters) for nearly 4 years, I am now a certified pharmacy technician at Walgreens.On November 25th, Adi and I adopted a rescue dog from the Davidson County Humane Association. Her name is Storm, and she is at least half Whippet, maybe even full-blooded. She is about two years old, and was found with her seven puppies a few months ago. Both Adi and I have lost wonderful dogs in the past few years (mine to old age at 15 years, his to cancer), and Storm is absolutely perfect for us! She is very loving and likes to lick, snuggle, and play a lot. There are lots of pics of her in my photo albums! I strongly suggest to anyone looking for a dog, rescue dogs are simply the best...they will love you for giving them a warm home, food, and love, and steal your heart at the same time. All that being said, I'm more than a little bit crazy, and proud of it.
