Umm... stuff?

About Me

Let's see here... I like hanging out at dockside bars... err I mean Old Chicago or any other bar/restaurant really! Movies are frickin' sweet: if I had the money I'd probably own a couple hundred DVD's. What else... Oh! I play guitar in Everest (a metal band, but an awesome one!) I'm a bit of a computer nerd, but not in the "I hate sunlight" sort of way. I'm probably the most sarcastic person you'll ever meet, and can be kind of a charismatic asshole sometimes haha
Music is my life! It is my passion, my talent, and my curse (OooOOoh). You see, it isn't a choice for me, it isn't some phase, or some "fun thing to do on the weekend"; it consumes me. Music consumes every part of my life. Every waking minute, I have an overwhelming need to do something involving music, be it playing it, listening to it, writing it, recording it, promoting/marketing it, selling it, buying it, discussing it, planning tours, or just thinking about it.
And honestly, it sometimes sucks really bad. For one thing, the music business can be a terrible place. It's hard to stand out, hard to make a living at it, and hard to avoid less-than-honest people. I wish I had more hours in the day to dedicate myself to every passion I have, but I simply don't have enough time and it sucks. The worst part is I don't even know if I really am talented, or if there really is any chance anything I do will ever matter. But I'm gonna go balls-out and do it anyway...

I miss playing shows & touring so bad... :(

For all of it's/their faults, Nehemiah was a fucking fun band to be in while I was in it.  We played probably 80-100 shows in a 5-month period, and while not all of the shows were amazing or anyt...

I'm going insane...

I can't stand my job, my apartment, or the life I live in it. I feel like I've just got too much crap. This recording setup I never use. These DVD's I've seen hundreds of times. This food I eat. ...

Busy Treading Water

I haven't updated this thing in a while... I wonder if anybody will read this? I guess it's not a big deal either way; I'm not going to say anything particularly interesting or insightful. Or funny ...

Damnit, suckered in again...

Yeah, that's right, I'm on myspace. We all knew it would happen eventually, right? Unlike my livejournal (which turned out to be quite boring), I plan to update this thing rather regularly. What do...
