Gerald is an accomplished amateur wrestler who competed for Cleveland State University, where he was a three-time qualifier for the NCAA Division I national championships and the 2003 Eastern Wrestling League champion.
A veteran of the
International Fight League, Harris began training in mixed martial arts in 2006.
He is a former high school and middle school history teacher and spent six years
performing as a standup comedian. He graduated from Cleveland State with a
bachelor’s degree in History and has two sons, Christopher and Gerald.
