About Me

My friends and I are a group of young, single professional women who lead very active social lives (see hotties below). We regularly comment on how similar our lives are to Sex and the City... except we don't look that great, have that much money, or have that much sex. So, basically we just hang out with a bunch of women all the time and drink a lot. And Birmingham is no Manhatten, but it is an awesome and underrated city. However, like the characters on the show we have interesting, and sometimes chaotic love lives worthy of Emmy-caliber entertainment. I'd like to think we are a stylish set that is fairly socially "plugged-in" (albeit we don't wear Dolce & Gabana to yoga class). More importantly, we are a close-knit group of dynamic and smart women who deeply respect and care for each other. And much like the characters on the show, we provide a support system for one another, a quasi-family of sorts- we are a constant source of support for each other when it comes to our romantic, professional, and social lives. We occasionally irritate each other, but that's the norm in all families. In short, we are a substantive set, as well as a stylish set. The truth is that they are a blessing to me. My cup runneth over (with Grey Goose). I love those sexy bitches! On a more personal level, I am an energetic, positive, and social person. I love to travel, meet new people, laugh, and just socialize in general. Although I'm very energetic, I'm also laidback and easygoing. I'd like to think I have a pretty good sense of humor, and I tend to find humor in most situations. I try not to take life, or myself too seriously. I appreciate the better things in life, but do not require them. I have a deep, contemplative side, as well which is reflected by interests in as politics, self-awareness, human rights causes, and other various intellectually substantive areas. Overall, I think I'm a pretty well-rounded person with many diverse interests.
