South Squad a été formé en 1996 par 5 M.C. (Sneeky, WillyzDaBomb, Bugzee, le géant et Big chops). Le groupe s'est produit dans plusieurs régions du Québec après avoir lancé son premier album qui s'intitule "5 Mics", sorti en 2001! Un nouveau projet devrait voir le jour en automne 2004.
