Completely gone, for no apparent reason. That lasted for three years. The illness was diagnosed as "Spasmodic Dysphonia" by medical specialists. They said most people who get ill like that never speak again.. Or a person might be able to whisper or speak again if they took a drug called "Botox" which is a form of poison used to disable nerve endings. So I went on a spiritual journey to see what it would take to be well again.. Without having to take a poison..I found the answers, and now am able to speak again, healthier than ever, and am also able to sing..I learned how to do that in the process of relearning to speak. Now, every moment is a gift I see, and I am comitted to remembering to have a spirit of gratitude, love, and thankfulness in all I do and encounter, even if it doesn't look like I think it should at first.
