Damn, I knew I was going to have to get to this sooner or later....
Well, I'm not going to go on for an hour about how I like to "run thru a meadow while smelling flowers and catching butterflies" cos I don't. I grew up in Queens, NY and spent most of my life in an urban setting until my move to Cali. Now, I dig living near the beach, and especially like being close to a hidden part of LA, the Venice canals. That's where I take a break when I need to get away from Downtown, Hollywood and my studio! (Gotta admit, walking thru early AM with a bottle of vino in hand still faded after a laaate Saturday night is where it's at)
Other than that, I'm a music producer/engineer/dj who founded Deepfunk Records , a House and Urban Groove label, in the Spring of 2001. I can tell you that I spend most of my time these days working on something label related. I love it, so I don't mind...besides, I'm a bit of a work-a-holic who doesn't get a lot of Zzzz's anyways. I'd say there's a 99% chance you'll find me in the lab working on tracks, for both the dancefloor (catch the new D-Train Hustlers musica) as well as for placement in motion picture and tv. So ,far I have credits for Blade II, Daredevil, Sol Goode (a damn funny movie), Wade Robson Project, blah..blah.
