I love music, right now I'm feeling old school. The sky being grey has me on this Coldplay, U2, James Blunt, Nas, Jay-Z and Murs kick. For some reason when it's cold, I'm getting my white boy on and only feeling hip hop. 107.3 on Sunday afternoons.
My favorite movie is probably Rocky 3. I love Mr. T. Of course, early Eddie Murphy, the late negro classics like Menace, Boyz, Boomerang, Love Jones, and you can throw in either Brown Sugar or the Best Man, every black movie in the past 5 years seems to be biting. Is biting. I really love Forrest Gump, I can watch that movie every day. Purple Rain, the Five Heartbeats, with Duck, the Jacksons, an American Family or something like that..."Joe yousa a liar and I dont wonchu no moe..." Angela Bassett does being cheated on better than any woman ever. I love that part. The Temptations. For the hell of it, "Nights like this I wish, raindrops would fall". Real talk I got the mp3 if you need that.
No television, but I do download the new episodes of The Sopranos and The Boondocks.
Right now off the top of my head, I'm reading or just finished reading... the Bible, Parting the Water (King trilogy), The Blessings of Brokenedness, Musashi, Leaders Count, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, The Corrections, Love, and The Alchemist (which I haven't started yet).
