Contemporary outlook, positive attitude and the energy of a power station.
Dragged up and educated to design degree level for 22 yrs in Lancashire (La La La)
then 9 years careering in Hackney/London now loving Cardiff since.
I have a humour that is a little daft, surreal and definitely quirky. But that's the artist in me, it means I look at stuff from different angles. Owwww, that sounds a bit pretentious.
Generosity and positivity are labels I have to bear. It's not always in my best interest. I'm definitely fun, I love a lark and always am grooving to the beat. I'm a practical problem solver in personal matters as well as the day to day. I've loads of energy, am passionate about important things and I love cooking.
Vegetarian/libertarian/eco-recycler since 1980. Individual/alternative since I can remember (oww pretentious again). Stretford Ender since 1972 (left side).
Manchester United since I was born.
Design is the main thrust in personal interest and work.
Contemporary with classic - the shock of the new with an eye on the past. I am stylish with a mixture of trendy and 'off the wall'. Illustration was my training and Graphics the earner. But I've taken a sideways step and now I'm studying Interior Architecture.
Music is a key to (do ra) me. I love it till I'm funked. Eclectic as you like, I DJ, but I'm not a disco dave. My DJ name is DaveGrooveSlave - I'm a slave to the groove.
I spin the platter with Bands, at charity gigs and underground sessions. The tunes are contemporary mixed with anything from the last 40 years,
from 'The Who' to 'Drum and Bass', but always accessible and highly dancable.
Travel is another trait, I've been all over Europe like a rash.
Went to Rio for a month (around Carnival time, yeha) Recently Paris, Glascow/Edinburgh and Berlin the first time in 10 years. When I finish this course I'm planning a 'round the world in (3)80 days'. Taking in Aus. (I've never been) to see all the family I've not caught up for years with or ever seen.
Now a bit of a rhyme:

Very rounded and very fair.
Firm and balanced, funny and batty.
Sorted not scatty.
I'm energetic and enthusiasistic.
Compassionate and poptastic.
I've decided on a sideways shift,
to study and follow a gift.
For space and building structure.
So my studies are
