About Me

56 Men brings together four professional musicians with a solid history of recording and live shows.

Singer/songwriter Joseph Borrelli and Guitarist Jon Cline have been playing, writing and recording together in various bands for many years. Joe and Jon were signed to their first recording contract with East Coast Records while in the band "Uproar" which toured the country with the single "Driftin' Away." Driftin' Away received major radio play across the country and stayed on Billboard's "hot 100" charts for quite a while.

Their second record contract came from British Label, Bam Caruso Records with the British-influenced pop sound of "the Patriots." The Patriots album, "Pharaoh's Land" was well-reviewed and played across the country on college radio stations as well as in the U.K., France, Italy and Australia.Pharoah's Land was recently rated the 148th best power pop record of all time in "Shake Some Action: The Ultimate Power Pop Guide" Check it out here: http://www.notlame.com/PBPOWERPOPBOOK.html

Both Uproar and the Patriots performed live on radio shows across the nation including WYSP Philadelphia, WNOE New Orleans, WVIA Home Grown with George Graham and performed in concert with several major recording artists including the Greg Allman Band, The Romantics, Johnny Winter,The Samples, Lonestar, Spanic Boys, The Bodines, Patty Loveless,New Riders of the Purple Sage...

Bass player, Ian Mellanby, is from Yorkshire, England and has extensive recording and playing experience in the UK and Paris with The Word Association and Jack. Our many thanks to Joe Dessereau and Tom Stewart for laying down the beat.

Coming soon, their new album recorded at the Infamous " Smash Palace " with Producer Steve J. Butler........ more to come.......
