We Open Our Minds As One

About Me

"We are all insignificant compared to the size of the Universe!!!!"
But that does not mean we are insignificant to each other on this planet. We are all connected in some way, shape, or form; the things we do affect others. We should treat others the same way we would like to be treated. We should not go through live as if the world revolves around us. Give respect, get respect!!! But don't let anyone walk all over you!

If I were to describe myself, I'd say that I'm a cross between "Carlton" and 'Geoffrey" with a little bit of "Benson" Can you picture that?
I think I was a race car driver in a past life.
In North Philadelphia, born and raised. In the library is where I spent most of my days(not really). I'm a huge baseball (Go Red Sox!),
Once again my cousin (Jim Rice) was overlooked for Hall of Fame Recognition!!
Check out his stats!!

I have very interesting musical tastes, some may call it odd, they just don't understand. I grew up listening to all kinds of music from Motown and Philly Soul, to Rock (including Christian Rock), and even some Country. That's right I said Country!!!
I (think I) have a great sense of humor, especially when it involves observation and a quick wit.
I attended Penn State back when they won the National Championship in 1982 and 1987.
I Passed 8th Grade Science
Congratulations to me, I got 8/8 correct!
Could You Pass 8th Grade Science?
I'm the resident computer guru at work, who needs the Geek Squad when you have me! Besides, my rates are reasonable.
If you ever take a trip out to Las Vegas, you'll probably never want to go to Atlantic City again unless you just like to gamble. If you live on the east coast, I advise you to take a trip out to the west coast sometime.

Take time to enjoy a smile
A smile is contagious
It should be spread around

Take time to enjoy the sunshine
Embrace its warmth
It will make you glad you’re alive

No matter what life throws you way
As long as you have good friends
You can overcome anything

Movies:

Star Wars trilogy (episodes IV-VI), Aliens, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Better Off Dead (I want my two dollars!!!) I kind of liked the Matrix Movies: however, I think that Alex Winter should've been casted (as the Architect) "No......Way.....Dude", "Yes Way!" Just like Rob Schneider makes a cameo in every Adam Sandler movie, Alex Winter should do the same in every Keanu Reeves movie. He could've played the Devil in Constatine.
Everyone I've talked to about it so far, agreed with me. They also thought it would be hysterical!!!
I love Vampire movies, but they have to be well written. Movies that portray them as being somewhat civilized (Underworld, Interview with a Vampire, Blade, The Lost Boys), I find more appealing.
Pulp Fiction, Back to the Future....1.21 Gigawatts!!! 100 Girls, Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Appleseed, Iron Monkey..."You Said 'Monkey!'"
Kung Fu Hustle.
<
To name a few.
There are other movie genres that I like as long as they make you think and have interesting plot twists. True Romance, The Usual Suspects!!!!
"The Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" Link Jon Anderson to Kevin Bacon in 6 movies or less.

Television:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, although both the series finales sucked!
Smallville-Is playing the role of Superman a curse?
Myth Busters -Let's just blow it up!
South Park

Robot Chicken-I can't stop laughing!!!!

Thank you Seth Green

The Friday night Sci-Fi channel lineup-What do you mean I'm a geek?
The Simpsons-

The Family Guy-"Blast!!!"

The 4400

Books:

Cooking With Beer- "mmmmmmmm, mmmmmmmm BITCH!!!!"

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series- "The Answer is 42"

Heroes:

Let's see: Batman, Spiderman, The Green Lantern........wait, those are Superheros. Ordinary people with extraordinary professions, such as police, firefighters, EMT's, etc. Also those individiual who have made astonding breakthroughs in medicine and science in the past and present.
Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Harriet Tubman, All the people involved in the "Underground Railroad".
Also the Troops in Iraq, along with all our country's armed forces all over the world.
Why do we think that if Democracy works here, it will work in every other country?
If the FCC fined all the CBS affilliates for Janet Jackson exposing her boob during the Superbowl Half-Time Show, why does the FCC allow this Boob to be exposed on TV?
