I'm an author living in the New England area with my husband and family, and I'm a huge Red Sox and Patriots fan. I write paranormal historical romances for Cerridwen Press, featuring an ancient race of were-panthers. I've been writing for a very long time, have a degree in History and Secondary Education and I love reading, writing, and collecting all sorts of romance books, especially Paranormals, Historicals (set in various eras) and Romantic Suspense.

My Interests

I love animals, especially big cats, lions, tigers, and leopards, apropos to what I write. I've also a curious interest in illusion and mentalism. I'm not in any way a mentalist, but people like Criss Angel fascinate me with their talent. I enjoy reading paranormals, especially when they're about dark, sexy vampires and shapeshifters. I've recently taken an interest in learning about ghostly phenomenon and someday would like to write a ghost story. Infact, I'm planning on including a ghostly element to the shapeshifter historical romance I'm going to write in 2008. I also confess to being addicted to chocolate, especially chocolate covered cherries, the richer the cordial the better, Hershey's Bars and Kisses, and Godiva! One thing I really enjoy doing is traveling. I'd never flown in a plane until I was 25, but once I did, I went to Alaska, California, Mexico, Canada, Europe, including Amsterdam, Denmark, Austria, Germany, and Venice, Italy, during the Holiday Season and through New Years. I've also toured Israel, built homes in rural and very, desperate areas, and most recently, went to Maui and Key West with my husband.

I'd like to meet:

Other authors, models, artists, readers, actors, musicians, photographers, old friends and new. Anyone who loves being creative, either in theater, especially the technical side of things...lighting, sound, and stage production, or dance and choreography.

Music:

I love listening to Classic rock, Alternative, and current Top 40. Favorite artists consist of Matchbox 20, Santana, Eagels, Beatles, Elton John, Billy Joel, Rob Thomas, Barenaked Ladies, Alice Cooper, John Mayer, Alex Band, Santana w/various artists, Los Lonely Boys, Concrete Blonde, Talking Heads, Eric Clapton, the B-52's, Joss Stone, Jimmy Buffett, the Cranberries, Meatloaf, Pearl Jam, Aerosmith, and Bon Jovi, just to name a few. I love listening to my iPod when I'm writing, music can be romantic and slow, popular, or rock and I love it all. I recently added a playlist of songs to my page, I have every intention of adding more songs or changing them around from time to time, feel free to listen or visit http://www.playlist.com/user/28557330

Movies:

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Billy Jack, Dances With Wolves, The Princess Bride, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, Star Wars-A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi, 3:10 to Yuma, Transformers, Glory, Willow, Hairspray, both movie versions, Moulin Rouge, Dirty Dancing, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Forrest Gump, John Wayne's The Cowboys and True Grit, Hair, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and The Prestige.

Television:

Favorite shows are Heroes, Lost, Criminal Minds, Law and Order-SVU, and CSI. I'm also a huge fan of American Idol and would secretly love to be a contestant on Survivor. I'm still a fan of M*A*S*H reruns and love watching Dexter. There's something absolutely fascinating about that show and the the lead is hauntingly cold and charming at the same time, great acting.

Books:

JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series, Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunters, Die For Me, Count to Ten, and Nothing to Fear, by Karen Rose. The Secret Pearl and Simply Love, by Mary Balogh. Also enjoy Christine Feehan's Dark series featuring the sexy Carpathians and Elizabeth Amber's satyr series!

Heroes:

Fictional heroes include Acheron from the Dark-Hunters, Vishous, from the Black Dagger Brotherhood, and Peter from Heroes. Real Life: My husband. Authors who write what they love and aren't afraid of breaking the 'rules'! My parents, for adopting all four of their children and making us a family. They are truly remarkable and support us, know matter what.
