Adopt-A-Native Elder Program, http://www.anelder.org/ , which supports the Elders of the Dines (Navajo) peoples who are elders who live in out of reach locations on the reservations and beyond and who desperately need food and medication.
Habitat for Humanity, www.habitat.org whose goal is not to just build homes for those in need but to build communities through working together to help one another.
Wolfdog Rescue, http://www.inetdesign.com/candykitchen/ Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary provides a permanent residence for over 50 wolves and wolf-dogs. These captive-bred animals, otherwise facing a death sentence, are provided with large, naturally wooded enclosures built around rocky terrain and plentiful vegetation. At 7,600 elevation, the 80 acre sanctuary provides the residents with a natural habitat where their communal howls can echo through the mountains of the high desert.
Samoyed Rescue, http://www.samoyedrescue.org / the mission of National Samoyed Rescue is to provide resources, support and guidance to assist rescuers, regional breed clubs, breeders and fanciers in order to promote the humane and effective rescue of Samoyed's in need.
