Melrick Bogier is the Senior Pastor and Founder of the Virginia Beach Worship Center - Virginia Beach's Newest & Most Exciting Church.
He, along with his wife, moved here in August of 2005 with nothing but clothes and a 1999 Ford Escort. In just a few months, the church has been launched and is growing every week.
The Vision of this new ministry is to introduce Jesus to the entire city of Virginia Beach and beyond. The Gospel of Jesus is taught and preached in various capacities to build on the initial salvation experience. As a result, the people will begin to stretch out and touch everything and everyone with the favor that comes as a result of a healthy relationship with their Savior, Jesus Christ.
Prior to launching this new church, Pastor Melrick served in various leadership capacities in many organiziations both religious and secular. These positions have helped to make him the courageous and cutting-edge leader that he is today.
This new church is also excited to be affiliated with the Calvary Alliance of Churches and Ministries under the leadership of Bishop B. Courtney McBath - the Senior Pastor and Founder of the Calvary Revival Church in Norfolk, VA.
