George Hamilton

Born in Birmingham England, George Hamilton began his musical journey mixing and DJaying in a Soul music sound outfit during the late 80's. It was after a new faith experience in 1989 when he received inspiration to start writing and producing ‘real SOUL' music. After forming gospel music group 'Manifest', George realised that God had blessed him with a talent for writing lyrics and music with a difference. He continued to extend his creativity through writing plays and musical productions, as well as acting and directing. During the 1990’s, George formed the very successful theatre group GWM Gospel Witness Ministries later to be known as TA Total Awareness. This gave a rather shy man, at the time, the confidence to develop his songwriting talent and to date George has a selection of well over 150 original songs ready to be recorded. The music styles vary and cover contemporary gospel, praise & worship and soul. " Every song I have been inspired to write has a message of hope and encouragement and some of the themes in the songs are to do with God's love for us & real life issues ".

With this in mind George teamed up with talented Christian UK based producer David Smart, whose production skills enabled him to work within the production camps of artists such as The Honeyz, Eternal etc... George and David collaborated to set up a gospel music production outfit in 2001 known as N-durance. Within weeks of this partnership they enlisted the vocal talents of a female vocalist Natasha Groschel. As a duo, George and Natasha performed under the banner of N-durance entering the National GMTV/The Voice Gospel Challenge in the summer of 2001. The group were chosen from over 700 entries to go through to the televised semifinals of the competition. They were also welcomed to perform at the annual popular Gospel Music Workshop of America to promote their music project which was warmly received by many radio presenters as well as gospel music enthusiasts.
