You gotta love the narcissism of Myspace!
I like to sit in fields and drink wine. I like sunshine and rain; I like nighttime, mostly. People interest me; deep conversations about how the universe works are always a priority, and I like kids. Kids really interest me -- so little, so new, so many questions that stun me and blow me away. Writing is the love of my life; dancing and laughing, hiking, smiling, smoking cigars at rare moments when the moon is full or the day just calls for nostalgia and heavy breathing, and sleeping are a close second.
CHEERS!!!
ME...IN MY NEXT LIFE!!! And ROCKWELL, again!
Here we go!! I hate these cheesy ass questions....like if ya had to pick......Anyway....Not in order...I love Dido, David Gray, Tori Amos, Tool, Perfect Circle, Ani Defranco, Fionna Apple, Coldplay, Gorillaz, Toadies, Edie Brickell, Natalie Merchant, Iron & Wine, Peter Gabriel, Sinead O'Connor, Ray LaMontagne, Warren G, Jack Johnson, Neko Case, Duman, Indido Girls, Tracy Chapman, Madonna, Carole King, James Taylor, Yellowman, and most 80's songs.
I like corny love songs. I adore old Bette Midler hits. I am a mood person, one minute I like a song, the next I hate it or the opposite. I like pianos in songs and good drums - yeah, my boy Phil Collins! And anyone who appreciates good music I suggest Pandora.com...
My number one all time favorite movie is 'Chances Are'...come on Robert Downey Jr. and Cybill Sheperd Rock!
I love all and any 80's films...Stand By Me, Goonies, Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, RatPack films.
Foreign films play a major part in my life, especially any that involve Gael Garcia Bernal. Also, The Secret of Roan Inish is a heart warming lovely film. Black Cat White Cat is a wonderful gypsy film, and The Color of Paradise, will make you cry!
Everything is Illuminated rocks too. "Premium!" Turtles Can Fly is really well-done. And just for kicks: Superbad. Juno. Dude, Where's My Car? Freddy Got Fingered. Road Trip. Napoleon. Eagle Vs. Shark. Pee-Wee anything.
Vh1 ridiculous shows that involve very little thought and lots of laughter - any show that leaves me with something to quote is well worth my time: Rock of Love, especially.
I miss Little House on the Prairie, and I still cry when I hear the opening song.
This whole "Kill Your Television" motto annoys me - it's good for those who can't afford cable, but come on, National Geographic has taught me more about hurricanes, bridges, and airplanes than any college course I have ever taken, and PBS rocks! When you look at T.V. it is just a tool...and shit I pray for the day I can sit down and watch it!
Women Who Run with the Wolves, Sorcerer's Crossing, Poisonwood Bible, Mists of Avalon, anything written by Ray Bradbury, Anne Sexton's complete works, A Theory of Everything, Prodigal Summer, The Book of Ruth, The Secret Language of Birthdays, The Eight, Hemmingway's shorts, The Last Novel, Wounds of Passion, Be Here Now and someday mine.
