I hate most of the crap people call music these days. But I do like classic rock, metal and old 90's grunge. I like modern rock and dance music too. I like house, D&B, rap (hardly ever though - most of it sucks), Hip-hop, jungle, Rave music, club music, rock music... it's all good. Metallica, Sepultura, Pantera, DJ Hive, Roni Size, DJ Rap, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Deepdish, Electric Skychurch, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, White Zombie, David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, Ramstein, Mike Patton - (Mr. Bungle, Lovage, Phantomas..) Bob Marley, Velvet Underground, The Doors, Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix, Buckethead, Roger Waters, Pink Floyd, Milla, Mazzy Starr, Janis Joplin, The Rolling Stones, anything on KCRW or The Octopus. Mutha F*ckin' FISHBONE!~Angelo Moore, Norwood, Spacey T. ... Elvis? Dick Dale, Lou Reed? Mozart? Ludwig Van and his dreaded 9th? (Makes you want to snuff it.) Les Claypool, Victor Wooton, Jacob Arman, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Carlos Santana ... Get the picture?
Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, Apocalypse Now, Pi, Requiem for a Dream, 5th Element, Suicide Kings, The Usual Suspects, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Very Bad Things, Waking Life, Donnie Darko, Resident Evil, Old School, LOTR, Evil Dead, Kill Bill, Bram Stoker's Dracula. Anything DeNiro or Pacino.Old movies - Metropolis, City Lights, Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin (who once entered a Charlie Chaplin look-a-like contest for a laugh. To his surprise he did not win..)The Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby, Hellraiser, Nightmare on Elm St., Jason, The Ring, Cube ...All the Chasing Amy movies, Duh. Kung Pow Enter the Fist., Not Another Teen Movie ...On and on really.
Don't like TV much, but I like The Simpsons, Futurama ... Okay I like cartoons alright?!
My all-time favorite book is Brown Patches on the Wall by the acclaimed far-eastern writer Hoo Flung Doo. I also thoroughly enjoyed The Yellow River by I.P. Freely. Other than that, my library is mostly just smut. Ok. I actually do have a lot of books, but most are non-fiction. I don't read just-for-fun very often, if ever-at-all. I need my instant gratification.
