Like the dragonfly's wings need the wind...

About Me

Hey, I'm Christy and I love coffee. I'm a Senior at Southeastern University here in sometimes-sunny Lakeland, FL.Originally, I'm from Long Island(that's Long Island, not LAWN-GUYLAND...punk), NY which is where you can catch me during the summer and a few school breaks. When I'm home you'll either find me working at BC or out with my friends. The people at BC are some of my favorites, don't mess. One of my passions is youth ministry.I'm a youth leader at a local church down here in Florida. The GG kids are some of my favorite people in the entire world.I have a firm belief that truely good music is a gift sent from above and that horrible music, the kind that brings one pain when they listen to it, is a curse...those who enjoy said music are products of the fall of man.(Haha...)On my down time I like to hang at the ocean with my friends, surf, swim, and occassionally go out swing dancing. I love sitting at coffee houses reading and writing the occassional thought down. I like to just sit and talk to my friends about everything and nothing all at once. I cry really easily at movies and books. I'm a quality-timer, so if you want to win my attention or affection, that's the way to do it.I love: my family more than anything, singing, acting, cuddling, white chocolate mocha's, holding hands, Irish culture, things that are pretty (including people), people who I have special connections with (you know who you are), Jesus, people that make you feel like gold (even on your worst days), dancing in the rain, whispering secrets, kisses, chai lattes, making faces, pilates, learning, looking for shapes in clouds, Irish and Australian accents, taking walks, dreaming, smiling, sun-bathing, laughing with friends, playing in a band or just messing around on the piano with friends, star-gazing, boys that understand, listening, snuggling, really good hugs especially after long hard days, laying on a blanket looking at the sky, long walks on the beach at sunset, and in-depth conversations.I believe that life really is more about the journey than the destination as most of my fondest memories were made on car rides and road trips.I am jaded, sarcastic, witty, loving, sometimes funny, optomistic, well-read, and never confuse love with trust.Want to know anything else? Ask me. No...seriously, ask me.
