Kinda ecclectic though...
MOVIES: All the Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, War of the Worlds, Encino Man(aha), Tyler Perry Plays, Click, Big Fish, Lethal Weapon(all), Finding Nemo and the Incredibles, Undercover Blues, The Goonies, Stand by Me, My Girl, most of the comic book hero movies(NOT Hulk), Phantom of the Opera, and any movie with Nicholas Cage, Vin deisel, Van dam, Harrison Ford(especially Indiana Jones), and maybe a few of Val Kilmer's or Orlando Boom's flicks(for obvious reasons), and lots of others...
TV: alright well I have been known to watch 24 religiously in season....and maybe the Cosby Show, CSI, Law and Order SVU, Whose Line, and Discovery Channel!

Rivers, Captivating by John and Stasi Eldrege, E.A Poe, W.C Bryant (Thanatopsis), Three, Blink, Thunder of Heaven and Heaven's Wager by Dekker, Mere Christianity, Chronicles of Narnia, Screwtape Letters, Pilgrim's Regress, God in the Dock by C.S. Lewis, and the Jesus Freaks books with DC Talk(various authors), Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.... Currently reading: Romans, The Meaning of Prayer by Fosdick, and Miracles by C.S. Lewis
I really think the heroes are those who do amazing things every day and don't mind not getting any recognition--someone in the military, or a doctor, or a missionary in the jungle.
