My Interests

-Theatre and film, both performing in and watching. -All things Middle Eastern, especially smoking hookah and belly dancing.

I'd like to meet:

Fellow Actors, Photographers, Casting Directors, Directors, Producers, Writers, Directors of Photography, Editors, Gaffers...I want to meet anyone involved in the entertainment industry, especially those who are interested in working with me on a project and creating fun, interesting, passionate art! I'm interested in working with you!

Music:

Almost anything, but I steer clear of country music and really intense rap and metal music. Everything else is pretty much fair game, particularly Middle Eastern music, your typical top 40 stuff, classic rock like the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, and Tom Petty, musical theatre, and the list goes on and on...

Movies:

Favorite movie of all time: "Singin' in the Rain." I love and watch way too many movies to even bother naming them all, but allow me to mention a few: A League of Their Own, My Fair Lady, Roman Holiday, Breakfast at Tiffany's (noticing a trend? okay--ANY Audrey Hepburn movie), The Little Mermaid, Zoolander, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, Spinal Tap, Ocean's Eleven, Ocean's Twelve, Ocean's Thirteen, the Jason Bourne trilogy, Clue...

Television:

The Office, Friends, Scrubs, Monk, the West Wing, the Practice, Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Entourage, The Practice, Law and Order, Law and Order: SVU, Law and Order: CI, Sex and the City

Books:

Harry Potter, DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons, anything by Shakespeare

Heroes:

My parents and my sister--all beautiful, amazing human beings who inspire me to be a better person each and every day, without whom I'd be completely lost. My late grandmother Cloie, who was probably the kindest, most selfless person I have ever known. She kept our entire family and her community strong and together. It's been over ten years since she passed away and not a day goes by that I don't miss her and try to mirror her kind-hearted spirit. I also adore Audrey Hepburn--she was a woman of grace, charisma, charm, elegance, beauty, sophistication, and immense talent. But she also devoted herself to helping those less fortunate than herself. Her fame and fortune did not prevent her from living as a selfless, giving human being and I only hope I can one day touch the world in the same way she did and still does.
