Music, CHIROPRACTIC, quantum physics, things that most people would probably think of as "alternative thinking"-that's a big interest. I am learning about energy healing and meditation, and I am looking forward to the time when I might attain a focused stream of conciousness.
Astrology is also a very big thing for me. Some people have a bible...I have "The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need". The dream plane crash, another fancy of mine, is a concept that I came up with, a fun tactic really, to imagine people that I don't feel deserve to live dying in a really horrible way. Like, the less I like you, the farther back into the plane you will be seated (am I a sick fuck or what?) and therefore the more suffering you will have to endure as the dream Plane goes down into the raging rivers on the Moon Europa or somewhere far off and unrealistic like that. Please note that this is my idea of a sick joke ONLY. This is by no means a threat to any of the people I wish were not in existence. It's just my fun little game to rid the world of them, if at least only in my mind...
I'd like to meet:
Joni Mitchell, Chick Corea, BJ Palmer, Robert Plant, my Great-Great Aunt Mary (everyone that knew her says I remind them of her), my distant family in Wyoming I've never met, my distant family in NYC that I'm not ALLOWED to meet (DAD!), Flora Purim

Music:
Joni Mitchell (God's greatest gift to us all, in my book), Chick Corea, Stevie Wonder, Stanley Clarke, Flora Purim, Alanis Morissette, Nellie McKay, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Ravi Shankar (and at times his piano tinkling daughter), Heart, The Beatles, The Who, The Guess Who, Mountain, The Balls, Bad Religion, Alkaline Trio (pre-"Crimson"[what happened???]), Cursive, Zappa, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominoes, Renaissance, John Rutter, Carl Orff, Lisa Stansfield, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, Jewel (first album only), Donna Summer and all the 70's disco Divas, Boston, Gino Vannelli, Don Henley, Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, Galactic, Primus, Miles Davis, Train (as in Col-trane), Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday, Ella, Kurt Elling, Jill Scott, Sensei, Herbie Hancock, Chaka Khan, Mother's Finest, Parliament, NOFX, anything at all written by Joshua Rumer (despite supressed feelings, still one of the greatest songwriters alive in my book), INXS...and the list goes on. Did I mention that as a musician, the list of what I DON'T like is actually a lot shorter. And on that note, I will say I DON'T like nu country (you know, with the oomlotes over the "u" in "nu"). Many of the performers of said "nu country" are on my dream plane crash. See "interests" for more on my dream 747.

That pisses me off. New uber guilty obsession...Rock of Love 2. I have been in love with Bret Michaels for most of my life. Also, I Know My Kid's a Star is pretty priceless. I am looking forward to everything Rocky is going to give me to make fun of her with.

Heroes:
My Nanny, who passed away in 2000...seems like so long ago. Oh, well. My adopted mom, Robin, who showed me that being a mother has nothing to do with biology. Her mother, Mary for her unending sweet soul and generosity. Joni Mitchell, good astrologers, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, Seth MacFarlane, Chick Corea, Stephen Sondheim, anyone who has ever arranged a musical before....that shit is HARD!!
