I am here for Friends

About Me

I am different every day I suppose. As I get older, I get more comfortable in my own skin. The trial by fire does make you stronger, even if you are guilty and your skin never fully recovers. I spend a great deal of my time thinking. I multi task the rest of my life around my thought process. I recently got glasses, after many an unexplained headache. My dreams are vivid. Sometimes I sense things about people. I can sense a person's energy with relative accuracy. The individual's intentions, good and bad. Bad intentions make me retreat. I have to keep the good things I have without the clouds. I have a gorgeous, hilarious wife. We just love living in Jacksonville where we have been on more prayer lists than Billy Graham's family. Knowing people equate cancer, surgery and injuries with "the gay" is very assuring. I like to tell jokes, I write comedy sketches, plays, and screenplays. I play guitar and sing. I like plain black tees and jeans with my vans better than anything. We are close to taking steps to expand our family. I look forward to the day I am a paid writer (preferably for television and film).

My Interests

Play and screen writing, playing guitar, singing, watching wifey go down big hills on her gravity board, emoting in my journal and overanalyzing Writer's Market for any potential options. Ultimate goal...to be a paid screenwriter. For almost a year, I ran my own weekly sketch comedy show, Byte Nite. We are also on My Space, you'll find it in my top eight. I've written a short, wrote a column in local gay paper for almost a year (I made gay people seem like "victims" & by the way our local Jax. media thinks "things aren't that bad"), I penned several honest editorials (Gaining me no fans), own a whole lot of original writing that reamins homeless for the time being-- or until it's right. People usually disappoint me. When I was ignorant it really was bliss. I hate living in the town where I attended and graduated form high school. No one should have to suffer that travesty. That's me, generally as it gets.

I'd like to meet:

Who I dont want to meet: Liars, Name Droppers, Sucker Uppers, Weak Minded Posers, Ignorant People, Egocentric People, The Overly Religious, Gossip Mongors, Haters, Fakers, Star Fuckers, and finally, anyone who thinks they know it all. If I ever do meet someone with none of that baggage (not likely) then I will go out of my way to befriend them. Otherwise I'm perfectly content.

This is your brain...this is your brain on art.

I am writing a screenplay. Longer than anything else I've ever completed. It might play as a comprehensive study of my life but my life comprised only the bones. I write the world the way I wish it...

The Unrepresented Writer

The trouble with expectations...

I love the line in Jason Mraz's song "Geek in the Pink" where he says..."I can save you from unoriginal dum-dums who wouldn't care if you come...plete them or not." If you haven't heard it, download ...
