Music:

Without doubt if I was constricted to one genre it would be reggae...mostly all of it and some..but really I respond to most music, hmm think heavy metal and country are the only two types I can think of that provoke a negative response unfortunately.. Sometimes it's the actual artist and tune that create the memories and sometimes it's the situation in which it was heard that holds the significance.........

Books:

Get really fed up that reading is considered the domain of nerds and geeks...get over it..you can read a story and lose yourself in someone else's world..learn empathy, walk in another man's shoes without ever having to leave your chair, bed, bath..learn stuff, facts and opinions..you can do it most places too, unlike smoking these days!!!..join a library and it's basically free if you get them back on time oops...no need for any type of power cept brain power so environmentally friendly too...how special to read a bedtime story to your children, fostering and feeding their imagination...few favourites hmmm The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupéry, All the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis, Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden, Lord of the Flies by William Golding, Animal Farm and 1984 by George Orwell, Most of John Wyndham, Tom's Midnight Garden and Carrie's War by Philippa Pearce oh gosh hundreds and hundreds would be here all day lol
