About Me

After the disintegration of The Main Frame in 2005, Steve and Rob decided to forge ahead, starting a new project with the general goal of achieving a modern sound, taking pieces of all of the best influences from the 1980's and 1990's. This finally gave them the opportunity to play with long time friend Peter Berberich on guitar. Upon deciding on a five-piece format, Victor Cuevas was brought in on bass, and Matt Haneif on drums. The band quickly developed a powerful sound based on simple melodic hooks supported by a driving rhythm section. Unfortunately, Peter made the decision to leave the band in Spring of 2006. But a willing and able replacement was found soon afterward in Ohio transplant Nate Wainscott, bringing a new energy to Repeater's lineup.
