In a perfect world: John Lennon and Randy Rhoads. In this world: old classmates whom I haven't seen in forever, as well as any cool, down to earth people out there who share any of my interests. Not to mention Rob Halford and Ian Gillan:
Various kinds, but metal and hard rock have ALWAYS been #1 in the soundtrack to my life! My ALL-TIME favorite heavy metal bands are IRON MAIDEN and JUDAS PRIEST, and as far as hard rock goes, it's KISS, LED ZEPPELIN, AC/DC, VAN HALEN (Roth era), RUSH, and DEEP PURPLE that reign supreme. Other bands I love: Black Sabbath, Dio, old Ozzy, old Metallica, Megadeth, Testament, Accept, Scorpions, UFO, Raven, Exciter, Fates Warning, Armored Saint, Ratt, old Motley Crue, Saxon, Death, Spiritual Beggars, Queen, old Aerosmith, Thin Lizzy, Twisted Sister, Riot, Nocturnal Rites, Twisted Tower Dire, Overkill, King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Slayer, and many more...
Other music: The Beatles, John Lennon, Santana, Cream, Rare Earth, Heart, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Al DiMeola, older pop music, jazz, some old rap, blues.

"The man that hath no music in himself,
Nor is not mov'd with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils;
The motions of his spirit are dull as night,
And his affections dark as Erebus:
Let no such man be trusted."
- William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice
"Without music, life would be a mistake."
- Friedrich Nietzsche

No favorite titles in particular, though I mainly enjoy non-fiction works pertaining to social issues and politics. I also like biographies, mostly those related to rock 'n roll. Fiction works I most enjoy are suspense/psychological thrillers with the occasional murder mystery. Not much time for reading these days!
