About Me

Late last millenium a group called Dozer resided in a small country town in New South Wales. One by one they were converted or killed and the remanents were sewn together to form Smug Goat. Regular gigs at the now defuct Rock Ape with the likes of The Bloody Vice, Reign of Terror, (who incidently had Warwar on drums for a period)Kill for Satan, Myrtile Vey Lorth, Sindablok and young go-getters Immutable were the norm. Driven by an unending thirst for grog and something that was more metal they began a drunken tirade into the shitfight that would see the outing of rhythm guitarist Ben (Nutz)Mansfield and the recruitment of giutarist Nick (The Shredder) Rigby. With new blood on their hands a whole new life was born into the band. It was during this time the classic Beerzerker was penned and with the loss of the Rock ape as a venue shows shifted to the Green room (then located in Woden in canberra). 2006 saw vocalist Poj leave for a carrer in Heavy Metal Evangelism thus putting a halt to their rise to glory.Dozer original members: Bob Harvey-Lead Guitars Ben Mansfield-Rhythm guitars Adam Reed-Bass Adam Warner-Drums Ben Rogerson-VocalsSmug Goat circa 2002-3: Bob (the Crusher)Harvey-lead Adam (Landshrak)Reed-bass Ben (Nutz)Mansfield-rhythm Adam (Nannawar)Warner-drums Gregg (Poj)Lodge- vocals2004 Enter the Shredder!
